超絶ベーシスト Les Claypool 率いるUSオルタナの殿堂、「PRIMUS」の1993年リリースの3rdアルバムがオリジナルマステープから掘り起こしてリマスター再発。ファンクとメタルが正面衝突したような突然変異種的なUSオルタナ界隈に激震を与えた金字塔作品、ミクスチャーバンドが台頭した時代の中でその渦中でのリリースということもあり大きな成功を収めた作品ですが、何故これが万単位で売れまくったかは今となっては謎でしかない難解スラップベースとプログレッシブな楽曲、変態性あるヴォーカル、完全にプログレでしかない後味は玄人好みな音楽フリークからすると痛快でしかない。
